Use WhatDx as research support—not as a substitute for medical care.
These Terms govern access to WhatDx, research-token purchases, case use, submitted information and the limits of the service.
1. Agreement and operator
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of WhatDx. WhatDx is operated by What dx, India. By purchasing a research token, opening a case or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and use for minors
You must be 18 years or older to purchase or independently operate a WhatDx research case.
A parent or legal guardian aged 18 or older may use WhatDx on behalf of their minor child where they have authority to provide the child's information and make decisions concerning use of the service. The parent or guardian is responsible for the information submitted and for obtaining professional medical care for the minor when needed.
3. What the service is
WhatDx is an AI-assisted medical research and information service designed to help organize and investigate difficult health questions using user-provided history, records, follow-up questions, research and a continuing case state.
WhatDx is not a hospital, clinic, diagnostic laboratory, pharmacy, insurer or emergency service.
4. Medical limitations
WhatDx does not replace a physician or other qualified healthcare professional. It cannot perform a physical examination, independently verify every fact submitted, order or perform tests, prescribe medication, perform procedures, monitor you in the real world or take responsibility for clinical decisions.
AI-generated information may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or inappropriate for an individual person. Do not start, stop or change medication or treatment solely because of WhatDx output. Important findings and proposed next steps should be reviewed with an appropriate clinician.
If you may be experiencing an emergency, severe deterioration, self-harm risk or another urgent medical problem, seek immediate help from local emergency services or an appropriate healthcare professional instead of relying on WhatDx.
5. Research token and case access
Your research token is the credential for the associated case. You are responsible for saving it, keeping it confidential, and controlling access to it. Anyone who obtains the token may be able to access the case.
A standard token currently provides a 90-day active research window. After that period, the case may be locked and no longer modifiable. Existing data or outputs may remain available for some period, but locked or expired case data may be deleted without prior notice. You should download and securely retain any output you want to keep.
What dx does not guarantee recovery or replacement of a lost, deleted or compromised token.
6. Information and files you submit
You are responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness and appropriateness of information you submit. You must have the right or authority to provide it.
By submitting information or files, you authorize What dx and its service providers to process that material as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and support WhatDx, including analysis by configured AI systems and infrastructure providers as described in the Privacy Policy.
You retain any ownership rights you have in the material you submit. This permission is limited to operating and supporting the service and complying with applicable law.
7. Prohibited use
You must not use WhatDx to violate law, infringe another person's rights, gain unauthorized access to another person's case, interfere with the service, probe or bypass security controls, distribute malicious software, abuse payment or discount mechanisms, or upload information you are not authorized to provide.
You must not present WhatDx output as a verified medical diagnosis or professional medical advice where it has not been independently reviewed by an appropriately qualified professional.
8. Pricing, payments and refunds
Prices are shown before payment. The current introductory access price and list price are described on the Pricing page. Payments are currently processed through Razorpay.
A successfully issued research token is generally non-refundable. Exceptional cases such as verified duplicate charges, successful payment without token issuance, or a material technical failure preventing use may be reviewed by What dx. Except where law requires otherwise, the decision to provide an exceptional refund, replacement or other remedy is made by What dx after review. See the Refund Policy.
9. AI systems and third-party services
WhatDx may rely on third-party AI models, payment services, web-research tools and infrastructure providers. Providers and models may change over time. Their systems may be unavailable, change behavior, impose limits or produce different outputs across runs.
Links or references to third-party websites or services do not constitute a guarantee or endorsement of their content, availability or practices.
10. WhatDx intellectual property
The WhatDx service, branding, interface, original software, workflows, design elements and other materials supplied by What dx are owned by or licensed to What dx and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.
You may use outputs generated for your case for your own personal healthcare-related purposes, including sharing them with healthcare professionals, subject to applicable law and any third-party rights contained in source material.
11. Availability, changes and suspension
WhatDx is an evolving service. We may modify models, features, pricing, workflows, limits or technical infrastructure. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security, abuse prevention, legal compliance or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe the service is being abused, security is at risk, payment has not been validly completed, or continued access would violate law or these Terms.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WhatDx is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, clinically complete or suitable for a particular purpose. No diagnosis, treatment, research conclusion or health outcome is guaranteed.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, What dx will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, the total liability of What dx relating to a particular purchased token will, to the extent permitted by law, be limited to the amount actually paid for that token.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer or statutory forum that applies, disputes relating to these Terms or the service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the service or applicable requirements change. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to contact@whatdx.com. An alternative founder contact is undefined.santaaaaa@gmail.com.
